Holiday 3-day weekends are perfect for a little getaway…but don’t forget to pack your tea! No matter what the climate is where you’re headed, this yummy ginger tea recipe will ward off any little bug and warm up your body if you’re going to be swimming or surfing in the cold ocean. Dr. J, Pacific College faculty member, gave us one of his home remedies:
- Fresh Ginger (3-4 slices)
- Mint (fresh or dry, 2 tablespoons)
- Orange Peel (fresh or dry, 2 tablespoons)
- Brown Sugar (1/2 tablespoon if desired)
- Water (2-3 cups)
Just boil for 10-15 minutes covered, and enjoy!
