Bob Damone is the Academic Dean of Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in San Diego, California where he has taught for nearly 20 years. He’s the author of Principles of Chinese Medical Andrology: An Integrated Approach to Male Urological and Reproductive Health, co-translated Ten Lectures on Formulas According to the Personal Experience of Jiao Shu-De, and co-edited A Heart Approach to Gynecology; Essentials in Verse. 


But, do you know about Bob’s secret life? 


·      Bob has long loved music (rock and roll and the blues in particular). Bob’s been playing music since he was 14. He’s been the bass player for The Blues Doctors for several years. The band includes PCOM president Jack Miller and PCOM faculty and alum Mark Kastner.


Did you know? 


·      Bob loves languages, dabbles in French and Spanish, and translates traditional Chinese medical literature into English—a rare skill!


·      Bob is an Ox in Chinese astrology and a Taurus in Western astrology. 


·      Bob is an avid yoga practitioner and loves nature, camping, backpacking, and fishing


Next time you see Bob around campus, ask about his organic garden and his favorite recipe. He’s an excellent cook!
