Reintroduced in 2007, this essay competition is open to students at all ACAOM accredited acupuncture & Oriental medicine schools in the country. Through this scholarship program, Nuherbs Co. has pledged its ongoing support to the future of Chinese medicine and this beautiful heritage of healing. Nuherbs awarded three scholarships. The top two scholarships went to Pacific College Chicago students! Their essays will be posted on the Nuherbs website.

The essay question for 2013 is:

"How can we encourage the use of Chinese herbs in America?"

The grand prize $2,000 NuHerb Scholarship went to David Frech.

The second place $1,500 Herbal Times Scholarship went to Michael Moran .
